I had a friend ask me to take a look at his numbers and I thought this could be fun, so I did. His chart was very interesting...
When it comes to Edgar Allan Poe...I wasn't sure what to expect, but was not surprised by how obvious his numbers were that described his life. He had very little variety in his chart, which told me immediately that he was here on a big mission. His life was the last one he had been intending to have as a human on Earth and this was clearly stated twice in his chart. Sometimes I see it stated twice and I have felt like that is a sign that this person is someone who needs relief from a hard life. By stating it twice I believe that it creates an energy around you that will provide signs to help you know that relief is coming at some point. Kind of like a little extra gift from your higher self saying "hang in there", you know?
We usually set out to accomplish bigger goals in our last lives here than in the many leading up to the last. I see people all the time with this pattern now as I do readings in my regular practice. I like to say that we intend to go out with a bang, to leave a lasting impression, so people remember that we were here.
Poe's life was one filled with passion and drive. He was a visionary on an extreme level, with the motivation and determination to make a lasting impact on the world with his work. He was very psychic and I have no doubt that he could see far into the future. I am not always sure how conscious or unconscious of a level people are working on when they are operating this way, but something about Poe makes me think that he was much more purposeful than most. I think he knew his work was big and that it could make a difference in the world. And I do believe that was his intention. He may not have seen the impact it was making in his reality though. His big purpose really felt clearly stated in his chart. Almost in a way where I felt he was existing in the world knowing who he really was and remembering the plans he had made before he came here. This is an unusual way to be for sure.
He was someone who was a doer, someone who didn't just talk about the things he planned to do, but who regularly put his big ideas into motion. He was driven on a high level and had such passion that it may have not made sense to the people around him.
One thing about him was that life did not go smoothly and it is apparent that he did suffer a great deal with circumstances that were incredibly challenging. Even though he had this passion and this vision for impacting the world, he did have a significant struggle in life and felt tired of how hard it all was. He could've also been a quite stubborn man and that would not have helped much. It looks like he was someone who was very particular and who wanted things to always be a certain way. He was not the type that settled for anything mediocre and was always aiming for more. He was a master manifestor and could bring the things he wanted into his reality, but I'm not sure he might've known or understood this ability. He also lived in a time where the work he did may not have been embraced and honored the way it is today. He did have an awareness that he was creating something worthy and valuable, but I'm not sure that was something that was ever recognized fully by the rest of the people around him.
Poe was also someone known in numerology as the conqueror of the dragon. This wasn't something that everyone around him could clearly see, but he had a strong desire to stomp out the dark forces. He was someone who did not like when others were mistreated or bullied by anyone. And he would stand up for people at times when he felt it was necessary. He may have also had his own demons that he needed to conquer as well.
I admit that before looking at his chart I wasn't sure what to expect. I never knew much about him, and the only idea I had was that he was someone with a dark twisted mind. Certainly a brilliant mind, but not exactly my style. I prefer more loving and hopeful tales and his are quite scary to me. The fact that he had the ability to tap into the most creative parts of himself and to then bring those visions to life, truly impresses me. And the magnitude of the impact he has made hundreds of years after he touched this Earth just proves how powerful someone who is a visionary can be. How in touch they really are with the future impact they can make. And how it seems like they know it more clearly than you would realize if you knew them yourself in the physical world.
Edgar Allan Poe led a life of great purpose with the goal of impacting people with his imagination and with his dedication to his work. It was obvious in his chart that he very clearly accomplished the goals that he had planned for the life he had. I am not sure if he ever saw rewards from his work or not, but I do know that we can all agree that he truly impacted this world, long after he left, with his wonderfully written stories and poetry. What a truly amazing man.☼
