The Theme Of The Year And Some Predictions Too

By Tami LoPresti

Me and my sister both learned how to read numbers from my mom. My sister learned first. She was more mature than me, so I think that's why my mom trusted teaching her earlier. I eventually got to learn a few years later.

As I was growing up, I remember watching my mom take people's birthdates and put them into these hand drawn charts she would make. And then she would tell them all about their lives, why they were here, and what types of things they would do. The people she did this for were usually in awe at how magical she was. And how she just knew so many things about them. I felt the exact same way watching her. And when I was a teenager I used to ask her all the time to do all of my friends numbers. Everyone thought it was so fun!

When I was older I begged her to teach me how to read the numbers myself. She said she would, but that she just didn't think I was ready. So I waited a year and asked again. Not yet. So I waited a another year. Not yet. A few more...still not yet.

Finally there came a day when the stars must've aligned just right because she agreed to teach me at last! I was so excited that I practiced on every single person that would let me! I did the numbers of all the famous people I liked. And I asked pretty much every new person I met what their birthday was too. (Ok...I still kind of do that.)

At some point the numbers just became a part of me and now I can't imagine what life was like before it. What's cool about practicing numerology is that it opens you up spiritually. And it helps you to explore all sorts of things that you never even would have thought about before.

A few years ago I started questioning why we only look at the numbers in birthdays, and why not all the numbers around us too. So I started to see if I could figure out what things might mean, based on what I know the numbers all mean.

I learned very quickly that you can apply numerology to way more things than I had ever thought. Maybe everything.

Ever since then I have realized that every new year has a theme. It's been accurate so far, so here is a list of my interpretations of what the last few years have been about. And also what we can expect going forward for the next few as well. I hope you like this as much as I do!

2018-This year should have been a fun one. It may have had some rough parts, maybe even downright dark moments for some people. Overall the numbers say that it was one with adventure, laughs with friends, and some really fun moments.

2019-This year should have been filled with passion. Romantic, business, creativity, or even passion for life. If you own a business, this year could have been a very expansive one for you. It was a creative year filled with ideas and projects coming to life. As far as your love life, you may have met new love, or rekindled an existing one. Loving yourself may have become a focus this year too.

2020-This year was the end of a cycle. Everyone knows how this year went and it actually went exactly how the numbers say it should've. This one should have brought you to your knees because it was meant to pull away the material world and reconnect you to your heart center. All of the foundation you have built for many years got shaky or literally fell away this year for most people. Hopefully the result was that you learned what really mattered to you. That was the lesson this year was meant to teach you. It should have brought you back to the reality that people matter, family matters, and that you matter.

2021-This year should have been the direction that came from the last year. 2020 brought you back to your heart. 2021 would be the direction from that place. The things you did this year should have come from a place of knowing the importance of the things that are irreplaceable in your life. It should have been the start of a new direction, with the knowing of what truly matters now. In the past you may have made decisions based on gaining material things, power, or things that you thought might get you ahead in the wrong ways. (whether you understood that or not is irrelevant) This year most people should have made decisions based on health, well being, stability, and the people involved. Decisions that come from integrity more than ever before. The ground still might feel pretty shaky, but this year was the start of a path to stability. The light should have started to poke through the windows to show you that there is hope to be had again.

2022-I am going to issue a slight warning for this one. If you did not learn to reconnect to your heart and what truly matters to you in 2020, then 2022 will be round two of that lesson...sorry. If you did learn the lessons you were meant to then this year should be filled with love and happiness. You are still rebuilding from what you have gone through, so it may still feel a little emotionally heavy, but this year the light will shine through the windows again. And although you might feel a little emotional still, your emotions should be swinging the opposite way as they were before. Like crying from gratitude, rather than despair.

2023-This is going to be the balance year that we will finally reach after all the chaos. This year will feel like you can breathe easy again. You can count on stability coming back. And you will know that the future is not bleak anymore. Many things you have lost will now be returned in many ways. It may take some time to accept that you can trust life again, but the sooner you do, the better you will feel.

2024-This year is all about choices. You will have opportunities in all directions and possibly it could become a big travel year. The choices you make and the places you go this year will fill your heart with joy. You could become overwhelmed with too many choices, too much inspiration, and too many directions you want to go in. Work on centering yourself before making life altering decisions.

2025-This year is about family and friends. This year will remind you that family is important. You will want to either start a family this year or reconnect with people you may have lost touch with. This year is all about building your family and your circle. This year should feel warm and loving. If you have things that you need to work out with family members that could be difficult, this is a good year to ease into those conversations and a good time to make decisions about who gets to stay in your world and who doesn't. These types of things could cause some ups and downs, but overall, this year should be a good one.

I could go on forever with these, but I'll stop here. I hope that these are as true for you as they have been for me. I do this for fun so please keep in mind that these are just my interpretations of what the numbers could mean in these combinations. Obviously a whole year is filled with many things, and each person will have different experiences and outcomes. These are the overall themes I believe make sense based on what the numbers mean individually, as well as together.☼

*Think about the last few years and what your experiences have been like. And then let me know how accurate you think this is!
