Repeating Numbers DIY Fact Sheet

Do you see the same numbers over and over?

Have you heard that these are angel numbers, or repeating numbers, or signs from the universe?

Well...I see them too. I pretty much always have. And I've looked them up at times to find out what people say they mean. I even bought a book on it!

I do believe that they are indeed signs from the universe. Who exactly is sending these signs and why depends on your belief system. I won't get into that here, but I will say that I believe it is someone fully on our side and rooting for our greatest good.

What I found as a numerologist is that the meanings other people give to these numbers don't always hold accurate to what I know the numbers to mean myself.

Sometimes they do, and I really enjoy when that happens, it is just not always the case. So that is why I decided to write my own little fact sheet to help you to figure it out for yourself. And of course I'll add some instructions on how to use it too. You can refer to this list as often as you'd like. I hope it helps!

Numbers & Basic Definitions of What They Could Mean When You See Them:

1=The right direction or the path forward

2=Love, matters of the heart and your emotions

3=Balance

4-Many directions or many opportunities

5=Family, friends, connection

6=Creativity. Art, healing, music, creative energy

7=Wise, smart, good ideas

8=Fun, adventure, manifestation, or a warning

9=Passion, insight into future events, or messages

0=The end of a cycle

A little more about each number and what they could mean when they show up:

1-The right direction or the path forward. When this shows up it will always signal the right way for you. This is always a number that is showing you the right direction, or saying that what you are doing is working.

2-Love, Matters of the heart and your emotions, sometimes this will be a number to tell you not to be so hard on yourself. Other times it will signify to trust your heart to know the right way for you. Usually a 2 shows up when we are conflicted or questioning things.

3-Balance. Balancing the spiritual, mental, and physical parts of your life. Equality. Stability. Things being right and equal, wrongs becoming righted. It can mean that things are coming into their proper places, or it could mean that you should work on the balance of things. You decide what it means when it shows up.

4-Many directions or many opportunities, choices, or could also signify overwhelm or burnout. This one can mean that there are opportunities for you available in many directions, that you have choices to make, or that you are doing too much and need to take a break.

5-Family, friends, connection. This one can signal the importance of connection and family. It could be a reminder that your family loves you and that you are important. Or it could be a signal to start a family, rekindle connections, or to put boundaries up with toxic family members.

6-Creativity. Art, healing, music, creative energy. This could be a signal that you will find inspiration to create or that your creations will start doing the things you have hoped for. It could also be an indication that it is time for you to start being more creative or that creative opportunities will be coming.

7-Wise, smart, or good ideas. Could be validation that what you are doing is a good idea and will work. Or could be a sign telling you to find someone that you trust to help you with what you are planning.

8-Fun, adventure, manifestation, or a warning. Could confirm that what you are doing will be fun and worth it. That having fun is going to be the result of the effort you are putting in. This number is associated with hard work and putting in the time and effort. It could be telling you that your hard work will pay off soon. This is also a karmic number though, and could be a warning of danger. Judge this one especially about how it feels when you see it.

9-Passion, insight into future events, or messages from guides, angels, or loved ones on the other side. When you see this number it could be an indication that what you are wanting is now in coming and will be in your life soon. It could also mean that things you are passionate about are working. Or it could be telling you to listen for messages at this time from guides, angels, or loved ones on the other side. It could also be reassurance that your spirit team is around you and working with you.

0-The end of a cycle. This could signal the end of a bad habit, the end of a relationship, the end of bad choices, the end of a job or situation, or other things along those lines. Just means one thing is coming to an end so a new thing can start.

So...how exactly do you use this list? It can be confusing if you aren't used to deciphering this sort of thing. Each number could be interpreted multiple ways.

How in the world could you even decide what each number means? And especially what they mean for you? Well, this part can be tricky. It might take a little practice, you know? This is where your intuition comes in.

Here are the steps to figure it out:

1. You see a number or a series of numbers that you keep seeing over and over.

2. Stop and ask yourself:

¨ What have I been doing each time this number shows up?

¨ What was I thinking about when I saw it each time?

¨ What in my life am I questioning right now?

¨ What feeling do I have when I see this number?

¨ If I had to just say the first thing on my mind when I see this number, what would that be? (Have this thought without deciding if it makes sense or not. Just go with whatever you think first.)

3. Look at the list of numbers and definitions above and read what each number could mean. Now ask yourself as you look at those meanings for each number :

¨ Does this make sense for me in my life right now?

¨ Could this number mean this or that for me?

¨ How could this apply to my life?

¨ If this number meant this, would it be a useful message to me right now?

¨ Does this feel like something that could be true for me right now?

4. Combine the meanings that feel right with the mixed numbers you are seeing to form one message (ex: 123, 332, 7276, etc.). Ask if that message makes sense to you. Play around with different parts of the meanings until the whole message sounds right. I will give examples of this below. If the number you are seeing is a series of the same number (ex-111, 222, 555, etc.),do the same thing. Think about the overall meaning you have decided on and ask yourself:

¨ Does this meaning excite you or move you in some way?

¨ Does this meaning make sense to you in relation to your life right now?

¨ Is this the answer to a question you may have been seeking an answer for?

¨ Would this be a strong message for you right now?

¨ If this is the correct message, does it feel like something relevant to you, that someone who loves you and is on your side would say to you right now?

¨ What would be the most insightful or meaningful to you, based on your exact situation in life right now?

Remember that this is all an interpretation of what these numbers could mean.

There is no-one but you that can decide what they truly mean for you. You are the only one living your life, navigating your world, and having your own unique experiences. All of the answers to any question you may ever have comes from inside of you. Trust yourself to be able to decipher these messages. It may take some practice, but you can do this! I promise.

Ok...now let's go through some examples of repeating numbers and what they could mean:

When there is more than one of the same number it is showing up on purpose that way to help you recognize it as a sign for you.

11, 111, or 1111-This is a popular one that people ask about a lot. 1= the right direction. So this one is kinda like a thumbs up that things are right and good. You are on the right path, and not to worry because all is going as planned.

33, 333, or 3333-3=balance, could mean that you are becoming balanced or that it's a time to work on finding balance in your life. Always decide the meaning for you, based on your intuition.

123-So this one is a little more complicated because we are going to combine some numbers to make one meaning from it. The one=direction. The 2=love, heart, emotions. The 3=balance.

I would say that this number would be telling you that if you go in the direction of your heart that you will find the balance you are looking for.

Easy...right? Ok...let's try a few more.

7654-7=wise, smart, or good ideas, 6=creativity, 5=family, friends, connection,

4=many directions or opportunities.

I would say that the meaning of this one could be: It's a good idea to start a creative project with a family member or a friend because it will lead to many opportunities. This could apply to business collaborations or other types as well.

Again..you decide the meaning for you.

823-8=fun, adventure, manifestation, or a warning., 2=love, heart, emotions, 3=balance.

For this one I would first question that 8 and get clear on it. I would think "Am I in danger? Does something feel off when I see this number? Should I worry?". And I would feel what my gut says. If you do sense that this number may be a warning of some kind, then I would look at the rest of the numbers to decide the meaning.

This is what I think it could mean in a warning type situation: I should look out for a relationship (romantic or otherwise) that is trying to make me unstable in some way. Maybe there is someone jealous that is trying to interfere with my life somehow? Or there could be a romantic relationship where someone does not have good intentions and they are going to cause some instability in my life?

If you sense no danger and do not believe this is a warning of any kind, I would decide it to mean: The things I have been working on that involve my love life are coming into balance now. Or the fun adventurous romance I have been involved in is balanced and helping to bring stability to my life.

Some very different interpretations for that one! This is where you must feel into the answers based on the knowing of the situation you are personally in.

One more...

9143-9=passion, insights to future events, or messages, 1=the right direction, many directions or opportunities, 3=balance

I would interpret this one as: If I follow my passion it will lead me in the right direction to the opportunities that will help me feel stable and balanced in all areas of my life.

I could do these all day, but I am sure you get the idea. I really hope you love playing around with these things as much as I do. I think it's really fun to figure out what repeating numbers could mean in my life whenever I see them. I hope you didn't find this confusing or too complicated. I tried to break it down as simply as I could, with still being as descriptive as I thought I should be for you.
